Farmers no. 1 Tax Offenders – RTE investigation reveals

A new RTE investigation has revealed that ‪farmers‬ are by far the most numerous ‪‎tax‬ offenders, accounting for more than 10% of all convictions. Rent-A-Room Relief Increase

We can advise that the income limit in respect of the letting, for residential purposes, of a room or rooms a persons’ home has increased from €10,000 to €12,000 with effect from 1 January 2015 as introduced by Finance Act 2014. The relief can apply in the case of lettings to students, but not in the case of guest accommodation.
